Your mind, your body, your heart wasn't in it? That's the kind of run I had when my brain decided to come up with really grand reasons why I shouldn't run. As I write this I'm sitting at a coffee shop on the Rock 'N Roll Marathon route in Phoenix helping cheer on runners. I'm not anti-running... most of the time. :) Glad to hear you had a good run, but haven’t you ever had one where it just didn’t go so well? Your mind, your body, your heart wasn’t in it? I think a lot of people are misinformed about running, and that's dangerous, leading to the wave of injuries seen today; that's a problem, but look at the thousands of people running successfully and without injury, and the evidence that running is good for you (as opposed to the consensus - for example, there's no evidence that running increases the risk of osteoarthritis). That said, I'm in the opposite situation to you - I just got back from a really good two hour run!
