The base package is the only thing I haven't updated either. In fact, the plugins are SO easy to update I have to be careful not to go nuts and load in 30 of them. I love it when it tells me there's an update, and I click go, and it goes. It disables, upgrades, enables, and I'm done! No silly downloading, unzipping, copying, setting permissions, all that ridiculousness. Now if only upgrading the base was that easy (I don't use that tool that auto update - can't remember the name of it).
